Reading Spirit Week
NCES American School “Reading Spirit Week” has been a captivating journey that combined the joys of reading and the expressive world of painting throughout the past two weeks. It invited all our students of all grades and all skill levels to embark on a creative journey where literature and visual art have intertwined.
Our Students were required to explore a designated literary work within a specified time frame. They immersed themselves in the narratives, characters, and themes of the chosen literature, allowing it to serve as the inspiration for their artistic expressions.
It granted a great opportunity for our students to unleash their creativity, literary and artistic spirit to write their own book reviews that reflected their interpretation of the reading material.
Also, it offered a unique opportunity for them to engage with literature on a deeper level, channel their creative energy into visual expressions, and celebrate the fusion of storytelling and painting. It promoted the exploration of diverse literary works and encouraged our students to expand their artistic horizons, while fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the beauty of both written and visual arts.
Hence, we are thrilled to invite you to participate in our upcoming vote for our students’ beautiful paintings! This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate the creativity and artistic talent of our young artists and to engage in a collective appreciation of their incredible works.
Our young artists have poured their hearts and imaginations into creating a vibrant collection of paintings that showcase their unique perspectives and artistic abilities. Each artwork is a testament to their creativity and enthusiasm for art.
Thank you for joining us in recognizing and encouraging the artistic growth of our young talents. Your participation and votes are incredibly valuable. We cannot wait to announce which painting will be crowned.
Please share your vote with the book cover number in the comments. The winner will be announced on Wednesday at 10:00 PM.
Best of luck to all our students
